I also did my daily club shield casts but left out the gripper for some dumbbell work tomorrow. I'll also do my wrist curls then as well.

Squat Suckage

I really didn't eat enough earlier today and it kicked my ass. These squats were freaking tough and they shouldn't have been at all.

Did some baby Inch and hub lifts between squat sets.

This is also the first time with the power bar in a few weeks so the groove is a bit to get used to again.

Log Press and the Baby

Bit foggy yet. I've been around 1,500 calories the past 4 days, time for a buttered steak :)

The Baby felt a bit tough today so I grabbed my loadable. Way tougher. Very slick and a good spin too.

Very low on energy. Big calorie deficit. Yesterday I only took in about 1,400 calories & today will be a little more but not by much. I need to kick the weight loss in the pants again.

Deads Day

Trying something new on deads and I plan to run at least 3-4 cycles. I don't think rep pulls really do anything for me as my form changes too much even with a pause so I found this little gem that's based on singles with timed rest periods that'll mimic a similar workload as with a repetition based system. Accessories are geared towards my upper back and thoracic area.

Week one: 70% 15 sets of 1 one min rest/sets
Week two: 75% 12 sets of 1 one min rest/sets
Week three: 80% 8-10 sets of 1 - 1.5 min rest/sets
Week four: 85% 4-6 sets of 1 1.5 - 2 min rest/sets
Week five: 90% 1-3 singles of 1 - 2 min rest/set

I'll add either 10-20 pounds each cycle without testing. Should be fun.

Well my pressing sucks right now but I guess that's what I get for not doing it haha! As far as the tempo assistance work I haven't done enough of it to say how effective it is but damn I sure feel it.

Happy with my work with the baby Inch as well. All completed lifts I'd hold for as long as possible at the top as well. Took a video to capture a lft hand lift too. Not my best but indicative.

Squats and Swings

Squats felt good today, better than the last two times. Getting acclimatised to the weight loss and the keto a bit better. I also decided to do some heavyish swings to help with my deadlift lockout and give myself a bit of hammy work since I'm using the SSB. Weight was fairly easy. I think I'll add 10-20# a week and stay in the 8-10 rep range.

Still keeping the volume down on everything. Just enough to stimulate.

First day of using the Sullivan program for deads. I also decided to work up to see where my double overhand is at since I haven't tried it in ages. It sucks, especially after armwrestling practice last night.

I'm also starting weighted glute bridges and shot a quick vid. These felt pretty easy but that's a good place to start.

Week 2 SSB Squats and Keto

Week 2 into keto and the SSB run. Down to 264# this morning. Had a tough time mentally with the squats. Fading out. Worst part of keto.
