Front Squats and the Saxon

1a) Front Squats
45 x 5
135 x 3
225 x 3
275 x 2, 2, 1, 2, 1 - Bailed on the 3rd set. Hit the safety bars and popped off of my shoulders.

1b) Saxon Sumo Pulls
155 x 3
175 x 3
195 x 3, 2, 3, 3, 3 - These felt very strong.


Only had time for a quick workout before supper again. Work is piling up bigtime.

This is probably the first time I've done front squats in well over a year so I had no idea weight wise where I'd be and was pleasantly surprised with these fairly easy reps. I think keeping a more upright position by doing all of the SSB stuff is helping a lot. I also used my straps to hand onto for doing them. Waaay easier and very comfy. I was reading an article on it the other day on the Tight Slacks of Denzo Ban site.
